The Knights and Hispanic community worked together to serve Guatemalan hotdogs, salad, fruit, drinks, etc. to members of the Parish attending the Annual Parish Retreat. We may not have understood everything we were saying to each other, but the smiles were universal. God is good, but these hotdogs were delicioso! The Durham Rescue Mission happily received the extra trays of food.

The Fall Festival was a HUGE success! The Knights went all in. Pizza, wings, fries, fish sandwiches, drinks, chips and the best burgers in Raleigh, donated straight from the farm by our fearless leader Grand Knight Reed.
The spirit of volunteerism was out in full force today. Knights set the tone by preparing a breakfast feast for all our special guests. Many projects were then undertaken around the Our Lady of Lourdes campus and beyond. Many trays of leftover food items were delivered to the Raleigh Rescue Mission, who’s mission is to help care for homeless people in NC.
Welcome to Austin, Thayer and Jeff. These gentlemen joined the ranks of Knights of Columbus, Council 12025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish today. The Exemplification Ceremony included our new Parochial Vicor Rev. Dr. Kenneth Oguzie from Nigeria. Hopefully he will also consider joining the Knights someday.
