Knights of Columbus – Council 12025Congratulations to Brother Dan for being selected as the Knight of the Month for September. Since joining the Knights, he has been an active member of not only the Council but also the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish community. Dan is Head Usher, Head of School Security, arrives before everyone else to open doors and start coffee for many events, and supports most of our programs. He has become an integral force in our Council. Way to go Brother Dan!
The Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge was held today. Fortunately the rain held off until after all the contestants competed. Congratulations to our winners! Big thanks to Adam for organizing and putting it all together!
The Council supported the Prolife Ministry with its presentation about prenatal diagnoses from a Catholic perspective by Dr. Martin McCaffrey.
Deacon Brad blessed our shed today. Thanks to all the Brothers that donated time to the build. Brother John, GREAT job leading the dedication ceremony AND working so hard to get the shed completed on time! BIG thanks and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your lovely wife for the wonderful reception that followed. Finally HUGE THANKS to Al, who made this possible! NC Shed Builders was AMAZING and we appreciate your very generous donation of time, talent and treasure in honor of your Dad.
The Knights helped kick off A Day for Him. Thanks to all the Brothers who came out to pitch in! Hopefully Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and MANY organizations benefited from SO MANY, gathering to serve Him.

It is our pleasure to announce that Fr. Patrick Keane is our August Knight of the Month. Not only is he a Knight himself but he has been a strong advocate for our Council and the Knights as a whole. We are beyond proud to announce that 4th Degree Knight- Bob Joyce, has been selected to be the Knight of the Month for July. He joined the K of C in 1967. The pictures are just a sample of the love and dedication that Bob has for the Knights. Every year since joining our Council, he has poured his heart and soul into all he does, usually while bringing Jan along for the ride. We Love you, Bob! Congratulations.
The 2025-26 Officers were installed and the new Directors were introduced last night. Our Regional District Deputy- Denis Carter was present to lead the ceremony and introduce our new DD#9- Bryan Kozak. Our new Officers and Directors will be led by our new Grand Knight- Matthew Handley . Thank you for stepping up to this challenge! Big thanks to our newest Trustee and PGK- Reed Murphy and his wife Beth for their dedication to the Council over the last two years. Double Star Council two years in a row.. Phenomenal effort!! You have both set the bar pretty high! Finally thank you to our Chaplain- Rev. Dr. Ken Oguzie for the message to consider what the words “Worthy” and “Brother” truly mean to the Knights. The joy he brings is contagious! May God continue to guide us in our work, this year and always.
