Congratulations to the Oyster Roast champion- Jim for being the November Knight of the Month! He is also one of our original members and one of only 2 Knights in the Council to serve as Grand Knight for more than 2 years. Jim managed to host it against all odds this year. This event is typically the only one that the Knights don’t have to cook. Fellowship never tasted so good.

Lord, strengthen our Seminarian and Brother Ben that he may hear your voice more clearly, respond with a generous “yes”, and grow in holiness. Keep up the good work!!

We had a great time at Breakfast with Santa. All proceeds went to the Knights’ Coats for Kids campaign. Some very special visitors were in town to make the environment magical. Thanks for another great turnout by the Council and the OLL School community.
Congratulations to the winners of the K of C- Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest. A special thanks to OLLS 6th grade, Mrs. Giandurco- Art teacher extraordinaire and Principal Leblanc for their outstanding support! Finally thank you to all the Knights that helped judge them- Especially Deacon Brad who assisted with presentation of the awards. Have a wonderful CHRISTmas!
Brother Tom has gone home to be with the Lord. He was a 4th Degree Knight and a Deacon at Our Lady of Lourdes for many years. May God accept him into His loving arms and comfort his friends and family.
Today I met with our worthy GK- a veteran, to deliver these small tokens of appreciation from the Knights. He delivered them to many of our veterans being treated at the VA hospital in Durham. Students from Our Lady of Lourdes School created beautiful cards to deliver as well. The message reads “I am part of our American flag that has flown over the USA. I can no longer fly. The sun and wind caused me to become tattered and torn. Please carry me as a reminder that You are not forgotten.” Thanks to Matthew Handley and ALL the brave men and women who have served this great nation. God bless you!
Congratulations to Brother James for receiving the Knight of the Month award for October. James recently transferred to our Council and has jumped in with both feet. He’s a regular attendee of many of our Knight’s Rosaries and is a huge help with many of our recent events including managing the food station at our recent Trunk or Treat. Keep up the great work- you are an inspiration to all of us. God bless.
What a fun time at the Our Lady of Lourdes- Trunk or Treat supported by K of C- Council #12025! The rainy weather did not hold anyone back. There were so many great costumes, decorated trunks and even some pretty good hot dogs and chicken nuggets. Thanks to everyone who came out for the festivities!
Introducing Sean, the 2025 winner of the John Rose Scholarship- created to honor the memory of John Rose, his commitment to the Knights of Columbus, his dedication to the Church, and his love for NC State University. The award was presented by John’s wife- Nancy. This scholarship recognizes a deserving student from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish , who is attending NCSU. Congratulations Sean!
Busy weekend! Membership Drive AND coffee and doughnuts while still helping with the CPO Food Drive AND Mass. Great job everyone! Several men expressed interest in joining the Knights. Serving God with your Brothers is a spiritually refreshing journey.
